In our latest Washington grower feature, we’re taking a look into Tacoma based Noble Farms. They are a family run operation whose hands-on methods produce consistently amazing flower. Staying true to being noble in everything they do, Noble Farms does not use any pesticides during any part of the grow, ensuring one of the cleanest smokes you’ll ever have. Rest assured, this flower hits hard and is completely free of any harmful materials.

A Hands-On, Organic Grow Ensures Top Quality

Master grower Chad Koeppe is deeply passionate about the art, craft, and science of cannabis production. He began his journey in 2009 by growing medical cannabis and was also employed at a garden store, allowing him to engage with other growers and learn about various cultivation methods. Over the years, Koeppe has honed his skills, and the grow process at Noble Farms is a testament to his expertise and dedication.

At Noble Farms, every grow cycle commences in the mother room. Each week, they take 60-100 clones from their mother plants, depending on the demand for specific strains. To control pests, they use ladybugs and nematodes exclusively in the mother room. This ensures that the coco base used in the vege and flower rooms remains clean and free from external contaminants. The clones are placed into coco and nurtured in the same environment as their mothers to prevent any shock to the young plants. The clones are given 14 days to develop a strong root mass.

After 14 days, the plants are transferred to 1-gallon pots and moved to the vege room. Noble Farms focuses on cultivating a nice, even canopy to maximize cola development during the flowering phase. Over the next 14 days, Noble Farms meticulously tends to each plant by hand and uses stakes to provide support. Once the plants have outgrown their 1-gallon pots, they are transplanted into 5-gallon pots and the lights are increased to 1000 watts.

Once a solid canopy has formed, each plant is moved into the flowering room. Noble Farms allows the plants 7 days to acclimate to the flowering room environment before trimming excess leaves that have developed underneath the canopy. They are strong advocates of supercropping and low-stress training methods, which minimize the risk of introducing wounds that could lead to bacterial infections.

Throughout the entire process, Noble Farms hand waters each plant every other day. This meticulous attention ensures that every plant receives the right amount of water, preventing overwatering or underwatering. The result is buds with an incredible aroma that deliver a potent high and are completely free of pesticides. For a more in-depth look at their operation, you can watch a tour below:
