Empathogenics, who has dedicated her life to helping people achieve full-spectrum wellness and aliveness. Through her journey from finance to plant medicine and psychedelics, she discovered the power of Kana, a natural serotonin reuptake inhibitor and serotonin-releasing agent, which can calm and uplift individuals simultaneously.
In a recent interview with the Mindfulness Experience podcast, Wang shared her expertise on the power of plants for conscious evolution and her session at the Wonderland Miami 2023 Conference, which was a tremendous success. KA! is an empathogenic company focused on promoting the power of plants for wellness and offers a unique perspective on the traditional use of Kanna by the Koi and the San people of Southern Africa.
Kanna has been used for centuries by indigenous people for its calming and uplifting effects. It is a plant with small succulent leaves and flowers that grows in the dry regions of South Africa. The plant has a long history of traditional use, including ceremonial and medicinal purposes.
Current research on Kanna suggests that it has the potential to alleviate anxiety and depression. A study published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology found that Kanna extract demonstrated anti-depressant-like effects in animal models, and a clinical trial conducted in healthy subjects found that Kanna extract improved cognitive function and mood.
Wang’s journey with plant medicine began in 2013 when she discovered the power of psychedelic plant medicine journeys. She joined Evolver and eventually co-founded The Alchemist Kitchen, a plant-based wellness hub in New York City that offers classes, workshops, and rituals centered around plant medicine and psychedelics.
Through her work, Wang has experienced the transformative power of plants firsthand and has become an advocate for conscious evolution through plant medicine. Kanna has the potential to help individuals move beyond fight or flight responses when emotionally dysregulated and achieve greater awareness and growth.
At the Wonderland Miami 2023 Conference, Wang shared her knowledge of Kanna and plant medicine with conference attendees, providing insights into the unique properties and benefits of Kanna. Her presentation showcased Kanna’s potential for conscious evolution and how it can be incorporated into a more extensive holistic approach to wellness.
Wang’s passion for plant medicine is grounded in the idea that the plants themselves hold the key to unlocking greater awareness and potential in individuals. Her work with Kanna and other plant medicines seeks to demystify the use of these substances and make them accessible to a broader audience.
In conclusion, I enjoyed meeting with Stephanie Wang and hearing about her journey with plant medicine and psychedelics has led her to discover the power of Kanna. I’ve been enjoying my supply of KA! This unique plant has the potential to help individuals achieve full-spectrum wellness and aliveness by providing calming and uplifting effects simultaneously. Her work at KA! Empathogenics seeks to promote the power of plants for conscious evolution and wellness.Â
